Dominique Bragg

Dominique Bragg was a Volunteer Bridge student during the 2015-2016 academic year. She credits her academic performance, in part, to the success skills learned in Volunteer Bridge.  Dominique took advantage of the leadership programs offered to her as a Volunteer Bridge student, including serving as the Vice-President of the Bridge Advisory Council. Dominique has translated the skills she learned outside of the classroom to the University of Tennessee, where she has become a member of the University of Tennessee Rowing Team. Becoming the first NCAA athlete to come out of Volunteer Bridge was no easy task, however Dominique believes any Volunteer Bridge student can accomplish whatever their goals are:

“Bridge created confidence within me. You have to be determined to complete any goal you have, and the goal with Bridge is to get to the University of Tennessee. If you work on the aspects of college you struggle with you will be able to handle the transition very well.”
