Describe the university of Tennessee in one word: Community

What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor?  I get excited when I connect students to other networks on campus. I love being able to help students find their place on campus and helping them navigate through campus

What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? My favorite activity in Knoxville is the first Friday art walks in Market Square. Knoxville has a strong art community and the artists all have a unique and fresh perspective. I love that there are student participants from the art department.

What is your go-to snack food? Tacos

Give your best piece of advice for first-year students? Prioritize your time and projects. Remember you are a student first and everything else comes second. Organizing work and parties are fun and great aspects of college but the primary responsibility is to graduate. My advice is to remind yourself that your goal is graduation and don't let anything prolong or hinder your goal.
